Starship Troopers: Continuum

I was approached by XR Games and asked to help on various rigging tasks they had for a new VR game they were working on. This would involve rigging various humans and creatures with different configutations of limbs, heads, and wings.

Rather than rig each manually I suggested I create rigging tool to automate the process, what’s more, we could make it modular meaning no matter what creature design came their way, they could quickly and easily create a rig themselves.

Once the rigging tool was built I then moved on to create a suite of animation tools to help the animators. These included tools for manipulating the animation, swapping between IK and FK plus a picker UI which updated automatically depending on what creature rig was loaded.
